To say the group 'hit the ground running' with their debut album "Since I Left You" is an understatement. Just after its worldwide release in 2001, the group took home four ARIA awards, Breakthrough Artist – Album, Best Dance Release, Producer of the Year and Breakthrough Artist – Single. The album was also ranked at #10 in the top 100 Australian albums, alongside legends like AC/DC and Midnight Oil. The group, who a known for their mastery in piecing together 'rag-bag' samples, then released their 2016 Album "Wildflower" and their much anticipated third release "We Will Always Love You" in 2020. The Avalanches' ability to create an almost a scrapbook of popular culture through their work has revolutionised the world of electronic music and continues to influence producers worldwide today.
